Comments from one of our wonderful guests, posted on #Mr & Mrs Smith's website!

Crisp white linen, fluffy towels and French provincial style combined
with Bryon Bay chic, make Victoria's at Ewingsdale a relaxing haven
away from the bohemian, beachy ambiance of Byron Bay town. Victoria is
a very hardworking professional and an enthusiastic host who left no
stone unturned to ensure that our stay would be most memorable. We
accepted the advice left by other guests to book the champagne
breakfast on our first morning and Victoria very obligingly allowed us
to invite our best friends, who were staying just down the road, to
join us for what turned out to be an amazing gourmet feast. Seated
under the vine-clad terrace, the attention to detail and the
wonderfully fresh produce will take some beating in the future,
especially when combined with magical views across beautiful,
manicured lawns to the ocean in the distance. We were fortunate enough
to stay at Victoria's for three nights, two of which we had the
enormous gastronomic pleasure of eating at the Fig Tree Restaurant,
located just a few hundred metres down the road. A dining attraction
not be missed is Thursday night which showcases the Farmers Produce
degustation menu. This obviously varies from week to week depending
upon the best produce available on the day at the market. It’s a
wonderful initiative and even better if you happen to be dining on
Thursday night. Our second dining experience was the following
afternoon. The wedding we were attending was taking place under the
ancient fig tree, as were the ongoing celebrations, providing yet
another opportunity to partake of the wonderful food and hospitality
of the Fig Tree Restaurant.
